We are excited to share a new book chapter authored by our colleagues Dr. James Hazel, Isabel Benedict and Dr. Mahsa Shabani, from the Law Centre for Health and Life.

Their chapter, Digitalisation of Healthcare and Citizens’ Rights: The Role of Regulation in Addressing Concerns”, is published in the book 'Digital Citizenship: Context, Concepts, and Controversies', published by the Leuven University Press.

The chapter explores the implications of digital healthcare for privacy, autonomy, and equitable access, examining how EU regulations, including the GDPR, AI Act, and European Health Data Space, can help address these challenges.
